Responsibilities & Context:

• Manage and lead the Technical Department, ensuring effective coordination with Merchandising, Production, Quality, and IE teams.

• Review buyer tech packs, specifications, measurement charts, construction details, and provide technical guidance.

• Manage sample development processes including Proto, Fit, PP, Size Set, and Production samples.

• Ensure correct garment construction, workmanship standards, and technical compliance as per buyer requirements.

• Analyze and solve technical issues related to fitting, pattern, sewing, finishing, and production.

• Coordinate with Pattern, CAD, Sampling, and Production teams for smooth style execution.

• Conduct pre-production meetings and provide technical inputs for new styles.

• Monitor sample approval status and ensure timely submission and follow-up.

• Develop and implement technical procedures to improve product quality and reduce production issues.

• Support production teams in resolving critical technical problems during bulk production.

• Review measurement and quality reports and provide corrective actions.

• Ensure effective utilization of technical resources and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain strong communication with buyers and buying offices regarding technical matters.
