Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of all project activities related to microenterprise development.
∎ Play strong role for market linkage and market development for Micro Enterprises and also support their marketing strategy for sales growth.
∎ Expert engagement for selection of Micro enterprises from all over Bangladesh through capacity assessment and business scale up potential.
∎ Manage a multidisciplinary project team including business development specialists, trainers, marketing officers, marketing, design, production and communications to deliver high-impact results.
∎ Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
∎ Ensure project goals, outcomes, and targets are met within budget and deadlines.Strategic Planning:
∎ Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the project’s goals for microenterprise growth and brand positioning.
∎ Develop strategies for long-term sustainability and scaling of supported microenterprises.
∎ Set clear objectives, KPIs, and timelines for campaign execution nationally.
∎ Identify and leverage partnership opportunities with local and national media, influencers, and stakeholders Microenterprise Development Support:
∎ Design and implement business development services, mentoring, and training programs for microentrepreneurs.
∎ Support microenterprises in product development, quality improvement, market readiness, and scaling.Brand Management:
∎ Create, refine, and ensure consistent use of brand guidelines across all communications and products.
∎ Position microenterprise brands to appeal to national audiences, ensuring relevance and competitiveness.
∎ Oversee the brand identity development for microenterprise products, including logos, packaging, messaging, and visual elements. Content Support:
∎ Lead the development of compelling marketing copy across channels (print, digital, social media, radio, TV).
∎ Review and approve all written content to maintain brand voice and storytelling consistency.
∎ Craft narratives that highlight the impact, authenticity, and value proposition of microenterprise products.Creative Design & Management, Production Oversight
∎ Supervise the production of marketing materials, from concept to final deliverables (brochures, posters, packaging, digital assets, videos).
∎ Coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually strong and emotionally resonant campaigns.
∎ Plan and launch integrated campaigns across TV, radio, print, outdoor, social media, PR, and grassroots activations.
∎ Manage media planning and buying in collaboration with agencies or internal teams.
∎ Monitor campaign performance and adapt strategies based on analytics and feedback.Stakeholder Coordination and Partnerships
∎ Establish strong relationships with government agencies, private sector players, financial institutions, and community organizations.
∎ Represent the project in local, regional, and national forums.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external partners for integrated project delivery.Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
∎ Develop and oversee systems for regular project monitoring, data collection, and impact evaluation.
∎ Prepare high-quality progress reports, case studies, and success stories for internal use and donor requirements.
∎ Apply learning and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve project performance.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ The Team Leader will be responsible for leading the implementation of the microenterprise development project, identification of microenterprise, ensure effective support to micro-entrepreneurs through capacity building, access to finance, market linkage. The role combines strategic leadership, operational management, branding, marketing communications, and national campaign rollout for microenterprise products and services.
