Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create design/product sample presentations based on mood boards.
∎ Research of new concepts, Trends, Fabrics, Accessories, Innovations and Developments in the Garment and Fashion industry that can be adapted for the collection.
∎ Evaluate the latest fashion trends, based on that curate buying patterns, and demographics of our target market.
∎ To Develop season- Wise collections for a given brief from conceptualization to finished sample- Story Boards, Detailed Sketches, Graphics, Washes, Treatments and other Surface Interests and their application on prototypes in the stipulated timeline.
∎ To work hands-on with the embroidery, printing, dyeing and laundry units in developing new garment treatments and surface applications across all categories.
∎ Making professional tech packs using Illustrator & Photoshop.
∎ Communicate design specifications to CAD team, work closely with the sample room to ensure that the designs are executed correctly, and the finished products meet the brand's quality standards.
∎ Follow up and co-ordinate every stage of sampling.
∎ Sourcing, selecting, and booking RM for sample development.
∎ Maintain a database for all design developments with accurate data.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to ensure a cohesive brand image.
∎ Develop sales forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
∎ Make forecast adjustments based on seasonal products, promotions, and discounts.
∎ Perform root cause analysis of demand issues and provide permanent resolutions.
∎ Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when advise by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2+ years of industry experience in design and product development for international brands.
∎ Proficient in communicating in English in writing & speaking.
∎ Proficiency in working with design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
∎ Proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel and power-point.
∎ Strong technical skills in garment construction and design.
∎ Excellent Understanding about global fashion trends and International high-street brands.
