Asian University for Women seeks a dedicated Teaching Fellow for the MA in Education Program. Women Teaching Women, Women Learning from Women (WTW-WLW) initiative. This program is a Women Teaching Women, Women Learning from Women (WTW-WLW) initiative dedicated to nurturing a cohort of educational leaders, instructors, experts, and policymakers committed to effecting social change through education. Students are motivated to make inclusive and equitable quality education accessible, especially for crisis-affected communities, particularly adolescent girls.
The Teaching Fellow will collaborate within a team to ensure the smooth operation of the program and the effective delivery of classes.
Main Responsibilities of the Job:
● Support the virtual delivery of academic courses from partner universities, ensuring smooth coordination with professors and facilitating student access to online materials.
● Lead in-person discussion sections, hold office hours, and manage an Advising Pod of approximately 10 students, offering academic guidance and fostering community-building.
● Collaborate with AUW staff to coordinate events and policies between undergraduate and graduate students, assist in recruitment efforts, and serve as a liaison between on-the-ground and remote program teams.
● Contribute to program management such as scheduling, coordination with partner institution, academic calendar support and so on; and assist with related projects as needed.
Other Requirements:
● A Master's and a Bachelor's degree with a strong academic performance
● Previous teaching or mentoring experience preferred
● Experience with online or hybrid programs is an advantage
