Experience & Suitability:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in land survey, mutation, and registration-related work.
  • Retired KGO/Surveyor from the Government or City Corporation with direct experience in Survey/Settlement operations will be given high preference.
  • In-depth understanding of Bangladesh Land Laws, Registration Acts, and related circulars.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and government liaison skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive land issues with accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.

Responsibilities & Context:

Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Surveyor/KGO with strong expertise in land administration, mutation, registration, and settlement operations. The incumbent will be responsible for handling all land-related legal and procedural matters, including documentation, verification, and liaison with government offices such as RAJUK, AC Land Office (in and outside Dhaka), DC Office, and relevant ministries.

  • Process and submit Mutation cases to AC Land Office/RAJUK and related authorities.

  • Verify and scrutinize land ownership documents, mutation papers, sale permissions, and registration deeds.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of land acquisition, classification, and ownership changes.

  • Prepare documents and applications related to civil suits, such as title suits, injunctions, and successions.

  • Draft Statement of Facts (SF) for civil cases lodged by external parties.

  • Manage land-related disputes during Survey/Settlement operations and handle appeal submissions (U/S-30 & U/S-31).

  • Prepare applications seeking prior permission from DC Office for land purchase for industrial use.

  • Handle documentation for mortgage, redemption, and vested property (KA & KHA Tapsil) related matters.

  • Ensure compliance with P.O-96, P.O-98, and Land Reform Commission Orders, 1984.

  • Maintain liaison with City Corporation, WASA, Titas, and other authorities for name/mutation changes.

  • Keep updated knowledge of Land Development Tax (LD Tax) rates and payment procedures.
