Job Context:
∎ National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Supply Chain and Logistics Officer with Tuberculosis Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will report to Line Director (TB-L and ASP) and will perform his/her duties under the overall guidance of Deputy Program Manager (Procurement & Logistics) and technical guidance of PSM Expert.
∎ Posting location: NTP Headquarter (Dhaka)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand, implement and maintain standard inventory management policies and procedures specifically for the TB Laboratory and Covid-19 related products;
∎ Manage and document the receipt, handling, storage, release/distribution and reporting of goods in warehouse(s) specifically for the TB Lab and Covid-19 related products;
∎ Monitor stock levels and manage casual laborers in the warehouse;
∎ Ensure the maintenance of warehouse building(s), fittings and equipment;
∎ Implement and ensure clear safety procedures, clear loading / unloading procedures, correct stacking and turnover (FEFO, FIFO) procedures;
∎ Maintain the Warehouse activity book recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities;
∎ Assist in receiving all supplies and keep an accurate and up-to-date record of the store contents and in & out flow of drugs and other goods in the warehouse register;
∎ Update the BIN card regularly and prioritize dispatch needs in conjunction with program;
∎ Involve in the strengthening of Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS)/tools used in inventory management for TB Lab and Covid-19 related products (TB-WIMS, eLMIS, QuanTB);
∎ Supervise truck loading/unloading and documentation follow up;
∎ Receive completed store's request forms and prepare the goods for issuance;
∎ Ensure completeness of the request/indent form with signature from respective concern(s);
∎ Prepare a monthly report for the expendables store outlining all stock movements and remaining balances;
∎ Work with the team to reconcile the Warehouse register in the Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms;
∎ Update the stock registers regularly in coordination with, Store Officer, Store Keeper, and IT personnel;
∎ Ensure proper realization of the store/supply related decision taken in the meeting;
∎ Conduct routine inventory inspection and submit report to the PSM team in a timely manner. Update the asset register regularly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficient at using a computer and required software (i.e. MS office, spreadsheet and database, etc);
∎ Analytical and organizational skills applied to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health care;
∎ Proficient in both English and Bengali.
∎ At least 3 years of working experience in providing supply chain and logistic support of a disease-control programme or project. Working experience in TB program with National or International Organization will be counted as an additional value.
Salary:
∎ 40,000/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
