Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: Till 31st December 2021
∎ Job Summary: Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement project in the Host and Rohingya community of Ukhiya with the funding of International Organization of Migration (IOM). Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Supervisor for the "Resilience building interventions for the fire affected people" Project.
∎ Reporting: Supervisor will report to Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in identifying and selecting beneficiaries of the project following the beneficiary selection criteria.
∎ Conduct need assessment survey in the targeted host community using the Enumerators.
∎ Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
∎ Create batches of the beneficiaries for the arrangement of training in the Rohingya community.
∎ Mobilize the project beneficiaries to adopt the project deliveries through active participation.
∎ Maintain marketing of the products of participants with business development officer.
∎ Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries' households and providing necessary guidance.
∎ Coordinate with market actors to instigate income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist in tracking income generation of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist business development officer to link the beneficiaries with the market actors relevant to the preferred businesses of the beneficiaries.
∎ Assist the beneficiaries in enterprise development through utilizing the input supports they will be provided with.
∎ Organize camp-based product exhibitions, linkage building meetings to promote products of the beneficiaries.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 01 years of professional experience in development sector working directly with the beneficiaries.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 35,000 BDT with regular traveling and communication bill.
