Responsibilities & Context:
Explain the study objectives, procedures, and potential risks and benefits to potential participants.
Obtain informed consent from participants, ensuring they understand the study and their role in it.
Educate participants on the correct method of self-collecting vaginal samples.
Provide clear instructions on how to handle and label the samples correctly.
Monitor the integrity of the samples during the collection and transportation process.
Record participant information and relevant clinical data accurately.
Maintain detailed records of sample collection, handling, and transport conditions.
Ensure all data is collected in compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
Communicate any issues or deviations from the study protocol to the study coordinator or principal investigator.
Participate in training and quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to study protocols.
