Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assessing students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs.
∎ Helping students identify universities and courses that match their academic qualifications and career aspirations.
∎ Providing detailed information about admission requirements, course structures, and faculty.
∎ Assisting with the preparation and submission of university applications.
∎ Helping students write and refine personal statements and resumes.
∎ Ensuring all necessary documents (transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) are prepared and submitted correctly.
∎ Assisting with the visa application process, including documentation and interview preparation.
∎ Providing information on visa requirements and procedures for different countries.
∎ Advising on tuition fees, living expenses, and available scholarships or financial aid.
∎ Helping students understand and plan their finances for studying abroad.
∎ Conducting pre-departure sessions to prepare students for life in a new country.
∎ Providing information on accommodation, travel arrangements, health insurance, and cultural adaptation.
∎ Being available for ongoing support and advice throughout the student's study period.
∎ Addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during their time abroad.
∎ Facilitating connections with alumni and other students.
∎ Keeping up-to-date with changes in immigration laws, university admission policies, and other relevant regulations.
