• Experience: 1–4 years in a structural design consultancy or firm.

• Knowledge: Solid understanding of BNBC code regarding concrete and steel design.

Role Objective:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join our design team. You will be responsible for performing structural analysis for both sub-structures and super-structures and translating those designs into high-quality BIM models. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between theoretical engineering and digital construction.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Structural Analysis & Design (STAAD.Pro)

Super-Structure:

• Model and analyze reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel frames, ensuring they meet local building codes and load requirements (Dead, Live, Wind, and Seismic).

Sub-Structure:

• Design foundations, including isolated footings, combined footings, and pile caps based on geotechnical reports.

Optimization:

• Iterate designs to find the most cost-effective and safe structural solutions.

BIM Modeling & Documentation (Revit)

Modeling:

• Develop detailed 3D structural models in Revit, including columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls.

Rebar Detailing:

• Create accurate reinforcement 3D modeling and generate 2D schedules.

Coordination:

• Perform clash detection with MEP and Architectural links to resolve spatial conflicts before construction begins.

Technical Reporting:

• Prepare structural calculation reports and design summaries.
