Job Responsibilities:
∎ The storytelling officer will be responsible for creating videos, capturing success stories, documenting testimonials, drafting FaceBook posts, leading the production of DIY videos produced by the project, and/or other video/story telling materials in different ethnic languages.
∎ The storytelling officer will gather assets, graphics, music, etc., for BANI and complete them from start to finish, including color correction, audio mixing, and final export formats.
∎ Participate in regular meetings with the BANI Program teams to generate ideas for social media contents.
∎ Provide basic video finishing, audio mixing, color grading, and graphics.
∎ Travel to different Paras to collect stories, write scripts and storyboards, interview, and shoot video footage for creating videos including short DIY style videos, success stories, stories of change, etc. Responsibilities include filming, interviewing, video editing, color grading, subtitling, branding and marking and finalization of products.
∎ Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to BANI branding and marking.
∎ Evaluate edited footage to make sure it matches the story from the script and meets the narrative agenda of BANI.
∎ Edit footage within deadlines and create a more impactful visualization for the audience.
∎ Design CLA visual materials including session guideline, flyers, one-pagers, program briefs using adobe illustration/ InDesign.
∎ Cover different events and take professional photographs for project briefs, flyers, and different social media platforms.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of professional experience working with video and audio editing software and programs.
∎ At least 3 years of work experience in CHT (is preferred)
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla both written and oral.
∎ Fluency in one of the ethnic languages (preferred)
∎ Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions.
∎ Experience in Adobe post-production workflows and media management. (i.e., Premiere Pro, After Effects)
∎ Excellent in creating storyboards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
∎ Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project implementation.
∎ Experience in promotional and SBCC related video production for different national level and international level non-governmental organizations
