Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: - Prepare Weekly / Monthly action plan to achieve the Targeted pairs, turnover and profit.
- Give directions and Control the Operation team under his charge to achieve the above
- Ensure that the store staff is provided as per the productivity approved
- Propose the promotion / transfer or Exit of Store managers & sales staff based on records and Audit inputs
- Ensure that all store personnel are properly trained, well-groomed and are providing a high quality of service to customers.
- Interact with the training team to develop new training modules keeping in mind changing customer demands
- Ensure that all Local laws regarding labor, store operation are followed in stores as per Government and HR directions
- Work in close coordination with Merchandising and distribution department to Control aged stocks, maintain optimum inventory of NOOS + Best sellers in stores. Ensure that regrouping and consolidation of stocks are done are per directions with approved cost
- Provide customer feedback to the respective departments and work closely with Marketing department to ensure the Brand image of the company is well maintained
- Give guideline to the store and operation teams to maintain the display in store as per Global and regional guidelines
- Always be updated on the competitors' activities in the market and keep the company informed
- Control store expenses within limits and ensure that proper SOP and COA is followed while approving expenses.
- All documentations from stores as needed by the Finance department and MIS are sent as per deadlines
- Ensure that stores are regularly visited by the Operational team and proper reports are submitted. To scrutinize such reports and take actions. make sure that the Stock inventory is taken in the stores by the DM's and per guidelines. Keep Internal Audit department updated on any devotions and / or take support from IA team
- Identify new locations for the DOS or franchisee stores, do the business analysis and coordinate with the Real estate department for approvals
- Prepare business plan for Festivals like Eid, Durga puja, School, winter etc. for merchandise, manpower and Marketing and do a post evaluation of all promotional actions taken.
- Visit stores regularly to evaluate the progress and implementation of the instructions given by the company
- Perform any other task assigned by the Retail manager from time to time
