Responsibilities & Context:

1. Operate daily store activities under the supervision of the Store Manager and Factory In-Charge.

2. Receive, verify, and ensure proper entry of raw materials (raw cotton), chemicals, packing materials, spare parts, and other inventory items into stock records.

3. Check all incoming materials against GRN and ensure accurate entry into the system and register.

4. Issue materials as per production department requirements and maintain proper issue vouchers.

5. Maintain up-to-date daily stock records, in/out reports, and software-based inventory data.

6. Ensure proper arrangement, coding, labeling, and safe storage of all store items.

7. Maintain minimum stock levels and immediately report any stock shortages to management.

8. Monitor to prevent wastage, damage, or unauthorized issuance of raw materials and spare parts.

9. Supervise loading and unloading activities and ensure quality verification of received materials.

10. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and submit them to the Store Manager.

11. Actively participate in inventory audits and annual stock taking.

12. Maintain proper records of delivery challans, invoices, receiving documents, and other store-related paperwork.

13. Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Maintenance departments to ensure timely supply of materials.

14. Ensure cleanliness, security, and overall discipline of the store.

15. Perform any other duties assigned by the Factory In-Charge and Store Manager.
