Job Context:
∎ The incumbent should be able to direct all team Members of Stewarding.
∎ Knows all relevant for the position i.e., reading function sheet.
∎ Coordinates with other departments.
∎ Good knowledge of materials and chemical products.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To train Team Members in the department.
∎ To check personnel attendance and performances of the steward
∎ To check the general cleanliness of all food production, washing, and corridor area.
∎ To supervise the work and guide the brigade to the assigned jobs.
∎ To check with the Executive Chef, prior to each, regarding any special requirements.
∎ To control ordering, storing, and usage of cleaning materials.
∎ To keep a breakage record and report to the Chief Steward.
∎ To maintain adequate equipment stocks used for meal services.
∎ To instruct and guide his colleagues in cornet of machinery and equipment.
∎ To ensure the polishing of silverwares and brass wares in the concerned outlet.
∎ To ensure changing and replacement of sanitary clean dins in different outlets.
∎ To be responsible for producing the salvaging reports to the Chief Steward.
∎ To ensure that the garbage room and dins are washed properly after up of garbage by outside contractor.
∎ To ensure proper miser-en-place being supplied to the restaurants and kitchens.
∎ To ensure that all electrical equipment and water taps are shut off when not used.
∎ To perform other duties as may be assigned.
∎ To report any discrepancies or unusual incident to the Chief Steward.
∎ To perform other duties as assigned by Chief Steward
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
