Job Context:
∎ Breaking the Silence (BTS) is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Department of Social Services (Registration No. 05037, Date: 17 October 2000) and NGOAB (Registration No. 1642, Date: 20 May 2001). The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is implementing a project named `Strengthen Children Of RMG worker`s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE)` at Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation and Savar Upazilla, Dhaka District. The project will be implemented by BTS with the support of `Save the Children` and financed by MANGO. BTS is going to recruit the `STEM Coordinator` for the mentioned project and the position`s desk office will be at Mirppur, Dhaka.
∎ Project Name : Strengthen Children Of RMG worker`s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE)
∎ Report to: Project Coordinator
∎ Supervisee: STEM Coordinator
∎ Tenure of Services Contract:
∎ 3 (Three) months probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project`s lifetime.
∎ Job Location: Mirpur, Dhaka
∎ Working Area : Mirpur and Savar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans, conduct monthly meetings with partner NGOs and ensure timely monthly reporting from the field.
∎ Ensure timely preparation and implementation of planned activities.
∎ Manage the day-to-day operations of project by facilitating professional work process to ensure alignment with the established policies & procedures and in order to high performance standards.
∎ Design and manage project strategies, schedule, and timeline and create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
∎ Work closely with the project partners on creating, mobilizing, and increasing the reach of project activities.
∎ Strictly maintain safeguard policies during project implementation and conduct workshops with stakeholders, partners, resources, and mentors to ensure their safe behavior to the project audience. Ensure that all resource materials such as training modules are designed and developed by the experts
∎ Day to day content update in the social media, web page and others medium for better reach to the stakeholders and mass people.
∎ Develop activity reports and event brief for better understanding of the project progress.
∎ Prepare contents for press release for media coverage.
∎ Prepare event budget and comply the procurement process.
∎ Develop project success stories and share in all medium Maintain a close communication with donor, stakeholders, resources, industry experts and other partners industry to ensure their support to achieve the project goal.
∎ Deliver evidence or results in ways that can be taken up in communications activities such as success stories, media coverage, website, social media etc.
∎ Rapport builds up with experts and stakeholders to Visit and meet with local govt. authorities, if necessary, attended scheduled meetings.
∎ Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
∎ Day to day data collection, data analysis and monitoring reporting covering both quantitative and qualitative aspect.
∎ Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
∎ Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks and provide solutions where applicable.
∎ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
∎ Prepare monthly progress report and annual reports
∎ Document field learning, case studies and shared with partners
∎ Ensure to collect project related data and information from field level
∎ Ready to work to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh
∎ Others: Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor and /or Senior Management of BTS.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 years of experience working for ICT based projects, STEM capacity building for children and women
∎ Experience in working with INGO
∎ Prior to the experience in working with women and children
∎ Experience in managing fund and expenditure budgets to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness, and of strengthening implementation of financial control processes.
∎ Experience of managing partnership
∎ Prior project management/program coordination experience
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ NGO
∎ Understanding of the role of the manager and his/her functions
∎ Working knowledge and understanding of development programs
∎ An in depth understanding of national and international development issues in particular in relation to children
∎ Able to solve problems, generates alternatives, make decisions and taking action
∎ Proven administration, organizational and time management skills.
∎ Prior experience of working in field level tasks
∎ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including verbal, written and report writing
∎ Able to undertake multi-task at a time.
∎ Computer literacy (MS office suite).
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Ability for intensive field visit will be required in this position.
∎ Initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
∎ Ability to analyze information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically.
∎ Problem solving and decision making,

Salary:
∎ Gross: Taka 30,000 (Thirty Thousand per Month)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 2 days weekend
∎ Office time, Annual Leave, Increment & other facilities will be applicable as per 'Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy' of Breaking the Silence and the facilities will be applicable also based on available resources in the project budget.
