∎ Experience: A minimum of five years of diverse programmatic and development experience in securing multi-year grants ranging from six to seven figures, preferably from leading institutional funders such as the EU, GAC, UKAID, SDC, SIDA, USAID/US State Department, UN Agencies, EKN, AFD, the World Bank Group, etc. This experience should encompass sectors such as housing /shelter, WASH, climate change, disaster risk reduction, community development, emergency response, humanitarian services, and other areas within international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain HFHB live donor mapping, analyse data, and keep internal stakeholders informed and updated. Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor engagement in excel files. Develop and lead the coordination of the prepositioning plan, ensuring alignment with HFHB’s Program Strategy.
∎ Identify funding opportunities aligned with HFHB’s Program Strategy and contribute to GFOI’s monthly forecasting.
∎ The FOI Specialist will oversee the FOI prepositioning in coordination with the Associate Director-Resource Development and Strategic Partnership, National Director, and program technical teams.
∎ Facilitate the development of compelling proposals to secure funding and advance HFHB's mission. Taking the lead in crafting comprehensive and persuasive proposals, the FOI Specialist works closely with program teams, MEAL, finance team, and Associate Director-RD and Strategic Partnerships to ensure alignment with donor priorities and address critical humanitarian needs, supporting HFHB's continued growth and impact.
∎ Prepare briefing memos and other informational materials to support and assist senior HFHB leadership in donor engagement.
∎ Collaborate with the Associate Director of Resource Development and Strategic Partnerships and the Communications Officer to plan and manage events that showcase HFHB as a leading shelter organization, enhancing its visibility and support. Additionally, the FOI Specialist will work with internal stakeholders to plan and manage HFHB events aimed at raising the profile of HFHB programs.
∎ Work with the Communications Officer to create compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
∎ In collaboration with the Associate Director of Resource Development and Strategic Partnerships, and the Communications Officer, the FOI Specialist will (a) develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns for local fundraising for Habitat Bangladesh, and (b) assess and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, using data analytics to inform future strategies.
∎ The FOI Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including web, email, and SEO.
∎ Utilize email marketing to track and nurture target audiences.
∎ Prepare and present updates on progress, successes, challenges at internal meetings – Area Office, GFOI and Country.
∎ Under the leadership of the Associate Director of Programs and in partnership with the MEAL Specialist and the Associate Director of Resource Development and Strategic Partnerships, the FOI Specialist will oversee a comprehensive research study, supported by an external consultant, to examine the broader impacts of housing. A key output of this research will be data-driven insights that can shape and inform proposal development, improve project models, and provide indicators for constructing logical frameworks. Additionally, the FOI Specialist will lead the creation of a white paper to support influence-building and advocacy efforts, strengthening and contextualizing HFHI's global advocacy initiatives.
