∎ Experience to drive Motorcycle and have valid motorcycle driving license.

∎ Breaking the Silence (BTS) is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Department of Social Services (Registration No. 05037, Date: 17 October 2000) and NGOAB (Registration No. 1642, Date: 20 May 2001). The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is implementing a project named ‘Strengthen Children of RMG worker’s Protection and Education rights (SCOPE)’ at Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation and Savar Upazilla, Dhaka District. The project will be implemented by BTS with the support of ‘Save the Children’ and financed by MANGO. BTS is going to recruit the ‘Project Coordinator’ for the mentioned project and the position’s desk office will be at Dhaka.

∎ Responsibilities :
∎ The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible to carry out overall project implementation at ground level through supportive supervision and monitoring. The person is also responsible for HR and financial resource management, ensure effective support at field level for quality and timely implementation of project activities. He/ She also responsible for budget versus expenditure, financial control, ensure initiate procurement processes, ensure timely distribution and stock management of materials. Supervise staff and provide need-based support for their capacity development. Developed and provide different report, success /case stories according to project need. Regular communicate with Save the Children and obtain support. Regular communicate and maintain liaison with local level government stakeholders, government education officer, school authorities, duty bearers, garment Factory owners and managements as well as local level influential people. Create enabling environment so that project staff can perform their job with enthusiasm.
∎ Project Planning and Implementation: a) Responsible to prepare detailed planning and budgeting of project activities and implement as per plan b) Ensure the quality of the project activities by providing technical guidance and supervisory support c) Coordinate for conducting baseline and end-line study and guidance for service mapping, vulnerability mapping d) Organize and facilitate capacity building training for the project staffs e) Organize and facilitate capacity building events, dialogue, sharing meeting with the government authorities and relevant stakeholders f) Organize and facilitate different types of meetings/workshop with Government officials and local government. g) Ensure all child protection concerns identified are communicated in timely manner for response to the Case Management Officer and Phycho-social Counsellor h) Ensure quality implementation of Day Care Centres, Children space, STEM, PDEP, remedial, children group, Life skills activities. In addition, ensure printing manual, BCC and project manual etc. i) Assist program staffs in planning, implementing and review of project activities i.e. ECCD, STEM, positive discipline and ensuring adherence to technical standards, learning, and capturing good practice j) Provide positive feedback on staff performance and project activities when appropriate. k) Establish and activate Community Based Child Protection mechanisms in the community l) Represent the organization in the community and to community leaders and actors, collaborating with other sectors.
∎ Financial Management: a) Ensure proper and smooth financial management in the project in compliance with organization and Save the Children and policy and standards b) Monitor that, project funds are spending correctly, periodically and as per wok plan. c) Ensure inventory management, stock management in the project d) Provide need-based support to HR and Finance & Admin Officer.
∎ MEAL and Reporting: a) Work closely with the MEAL Officer, provide support to develop and implement appropriate monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for child protection interventions, ensure links to report requirements b) Require extensive field visit (40%) for activity monitoring and provide supportive supervision c) Ensure Functional of feedback response mechanism (FRM) d) Preparing quality and timely reports for donors and Senior Management with relevant materials e) Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report f) Ensure good practices are captured, documented and disseminated at project level and thematic programme level.
∎ Data management and data protection principles: a) Ensure that all staff respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines b) Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and ensure Information Sharing and Data Protection Protocol c) Ensure accurate case files are completed and that case management forms are utilized appropriately.
∎ Others: Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor and /or Senior Management of BTS.
∎ Employment Status:

∎ Tenure of Services Contract:
∎  3 (Three) months’ probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project’s lifetime.
