Purpose of the Role
Registrar will be the first contact for every client who comes to the health facility. Documentation of general information from the patient will be Registrars major responsibility. Besides this, Registrar will also help in patient triaging in the waiting zone and segregate the patient based on the severity and guide them for consultation.
Registrar will be working at the front desk at the IRC Health facilities to receive patients and ensure general information about the patients is recorded. The Registrar will also assist in patient triaging including managing patients in the waiting zone, managing patients’ queues based on the conditions of the patients, and directing patients to the consultations.

Highlights of Key Responsibilities
Accurately process front desk registration by obtaining general information and performing proper documentation.
Manage the day-to-day patient flow and assist MA/Paramedics in patient triaging.
Work closely with the referral assistant and Health Facility Supervisor for patient referral services.
Counsel the patient in the waiting zone as part of the awareness-building activities.
Other Duties
Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams, promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Supervisor/IRC management and liaising with other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs.
Promote and actively participate in initiatives and efforts to build team engagement, inclusion and cohesion in IRC [team/office]
Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and to promote IRC values and adherence to IRC policies.
