Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide technical support in planning, implementation, and evaluation of SRHR programs.
∎ Conduct research and analysis on SRHR policies, trends, and best practices to inform program strategies.
∎ Develop training materials and facilitate capacity-building sessions for healthcare providers, community workers, and other stakeholders.
∎ Support the development of advocacy strategies and policy recommendations to enhance SRHR services and rights.·       Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SRHR programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
∎ Coordinate with local, national partners to strengthen SRHR initiatives.
∎ Ensure that SRHR programs are gender-sensitive, inclusive, and culturally appropriate.
∎ Support the integration of SRHR components into broader health and development programs.
∎ Represent the organization in relevant SRHR forums, conferences, and networks.
∎ Assist in developing and facilitate orientation, training modules and programs for educators to improve SRHR outcome/indicator and the use of technology in the learning environment.
∎ Organize and conduct training, meeting, workshops at community and national level with multi sectoral stakeholders related to SRHR.
∎ Prepare reports, case studies, and documentation of best practices for knowledge sharing.
∎ Responsible to do any other task assigned by management.
∎ Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. Serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding & Child protection for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
∎ The Technical Officer- SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights) will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring programs related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The position requires a strong understanding of SRHR issues, program development, policy advocacy, and capacity building. The Technical Officer- SRHR will work closely with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations, to strengthen SRHR interventions.
∎ The Technical Officer- SRHR will have the following duties and responsibilities:
