Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand client's requirements and determine testing scope
∎ Test responsive websites & mobile applications
∎ Breakdown tasks into major test areas and estimate the time
∎ Determine and define test strategies for all sorts of applications
∎ Able to prepare test cases, checklists, traceability matrix as per requirements
∎ Checking both Android and iOS mobile apps using Android and iOS devices
∎ Execute tests or write test code to verify enhancements and bug fixes
∎ Prepare test data and use them during testing (by populating database tables)
∎ Prepare a test environment and know how to manipulate it to serve testing purposes.
∎ Report bugs/defects with appropriate details
∎ Determine root cause of functional bugs or errors in test code
∎ Sharp knowledge on UI/UX design, so that the QA will be able to catch if any design in a website or mobile app is broken or has a design issue
∎ Prepare all sorts of test documents (test plan, test report, release notes, etc.)
∎ Update task status and comments following proper workflow
∎ Monitor all tasks/issues of a release
∎ Retrieve latest code from appropriate branch
∎ Submit changes to appropriate branches with comments
∎ View repository log and understand where any specific modification has been made
∎ Merge source code changes made by other team members
∎ Provide written and verbal status in all sorts of meetings
∎ Perform R&D to identify the scope of test ideas that may scale up the output level
∎ Review all sorts of tasks of team members
∎ Guide and coach team members
∎ Communicate with Dev lead/ manager to improve development processes and resolve problems
∎ Contribute to the overall automation effort in both test cases automation and automation framework development
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A Large Reputed Garments (100% Export Oriented Factory)
∎ At least 3 years of Work Experience
∎ Knowledge on how to test Http API using Postman software
∎ A strong desire to learn and develop technical skills
∎ Ability to plan tasks and manage time effectively
∎ Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile
∎ Must be able to work with a PM tool like Trello or similar
∎ Familiarity with tools like Selenium Test Automation, API Testing, MySQL, Postman
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Should have people skills to foster effective communication among team members, and to motivate them
∎ Ability to understand the strengths and weaknesses of teammates in order to work with them constructively
∎ Results-oriented R&D skills and proactive attitude
Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 - 80000 (Monthly)
∎ (Depending on Work Experience Level)
