∎ The Security & Network Engineer will be at the forefront of safeguarding our digital infrastructure, ensuring the integrity of our software, devices, and client deliverables. This role involves monitoring and managing the actions of our engineering team to prevent unauthorized activities, theft, or potential harm to our software and hardware assets.
∎ *Key Responsibilities:*
∎ - Implement and manage robust security protocols to protect company software and hardware.
∎ - Monitor and track software engineers' activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
∎ - Securely store and manage software repositories to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.
∎ - Safeguard engineers' devices from potential vulnerabilities, ensuring secure access to company systems.
∎ - Prevent and detect malicious activities, including unauthorized copying or theft of intellectual property.
∎ - Ensure the security of client projects from development to delivery.
∎ - Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
∎ - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
∎ - Maintain and optimize network security infrastructure.
∎ *Requirements:*
∎ - Minimum undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
∎ - At least 3 years of work experience in IT security, network management, or a similar role.
∎ - Strong background in IT security and network management.
∎ - Experience with tools and practices to monitor and control user activities.
∎ - Knowledge of secure software development practices.
∎ - Familiarity with DevOps workflows and tools (a significant plus).
∎ - Proficiency in Python programming (a significant plus).
∎ - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ - Strong communication skills to work effectively with engineers and management.
