∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Candidates must have experience in sourcing woven fabrics.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The purpose of this position is to manage vendors and select suppliers based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability. Also to monitor and coordinate appropriate strategy for the overall activities of the Supply Chain department for fabric souring.
∎ Sourcing knowledge for any fabric; lining & interlining.
∎ Communicate regularly with the concerned department in order to purchase/source fabric.
∎ Purchase fabric as per requirement & maintaining the stock record.
∎ Updating vendor database on a regular basis.
∎ Good price negotiating capability.
∎ Work on foreign purchasing & have good knowledge of LC/TT/RTGS payment.
∎ Create a Purchase Order (PO) in the SAP ERP system.
∎ Monitor LC processing status with the commercial team and prepare BEPZA/custom docs Familiar with bill processing and documentation process in EPZ Zone.
∎ Any other task as & when assigned by the Management.
