Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have extensive knowledge on all kinds of Woven Jacket, Shirt and Trouser Products.
∎ Prepare open cost sheet for each order/product, to review production tech-pack, identify the new materials, clarify the discrepancies and arrange the standards to compare factory costings as per requirements.
∎ Independently manage, research and product development as per customer demands.
∎ Accomplish and oversee the merchandising cycle for on-time shipment for all orders (File / Record keeping / Sampling / T&As / QA file making / Production follow ups / Shipment booking etc.)
∎ Monitor opening of BTB- LC's (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, etc.
∎ Provide monthly intelligence report to the business on actual and potential rises and falls in current cost factors
∎ Coordinate and monitor quality of the product through quality personnel
∎ Select and visit different factories, mills, production, printing, washing factories and build long-term relationships for current and future orders
∎ Regularly evaluate factory performance and source & develop new factories as per requirements
∎ Analyze customer progress report in terms of growth/shortcomings/product and price points, get customer feedback on inquiries and close the orders with clarity on cost/ margin
∎ Need to take leadership and ownership of order handling from the time of order confirmation to until shipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 37 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
∎ Knowledge of local and foreign fabric mills.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
∎ Candidates having knowledge on Knits/Sweaters will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to source and develop new products independently
∎ Must be capable to handle two/three buyers independently in tremendous pressure with aggressive marketing attitude
∎ Must have skills in examining and establishing proper merchandising operations and procedures
Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 - 65000 (Monthly)
∎ Highest Salary will be given to the deserving candidate.
