Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: 1. Sales & Market Performance:
- Target Achievement: Ability to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales and collection targets as per budget.
- Market Expansion: Success in promoting and placing products-both existing and new through proactive outreach to farmers, agro-stores, distributors, and retailers.
- Brand Awareness, market Penetration and customer focus. Building strong product or brand recognition and in gaining mindshare among stakeholders.
2. Field Activities & Farmer Engagement:
- Demo & Training Execution: Conducting product demonstrations, farmer training sessions, and promotional pre-sowing campaigns.
- Technical Support & Education: Educating clients and farmers on correct and safe usage of products.
3. Market Insights & Competitive Monitoring:
- Market Feedback: Regularly gathering and reporting insights from the field on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Strategy Adjustment: Using gathered data to refine marketing strategy and campaigns.
4. Planning, Reporting & Documentation:
- Sales & Budget Planning: Preparing accurate forecasts, sales plans, and marketing campaign budgets.
- Timely Reporting: Submitting regular activity, sales, and expense reports promptly and with accuracy.
5. Client & Channel Relationship Management:
- Networking: Building strong ties with traders, dealers, distributors, and farmers; maintaining these relationships for sustained business.
- Credit Handling: Managing credit accounts and ensuring collections align with company policy.
6. Operational Excellence:
- Stock/Channel Management: Ensuring the right products are available at the right place and time; effective shelf management, push-pull balance and liquidation.
- Field Execution: Efficient campaign rollout, coordination with field teams, and follow-through on sales actions.
7. Technical & Analytical Skills
- Product Knowledge: Understanding pesticide products and agricultural inputs thoroughly to offer credible advice.
- Market Analysis: Evaluating competitor strategies, current market conditions, and customer needs to adjust plans.
8. Communication & Soft Skills:
- Presentation & Reporting: Proficient in compiling and delivering clear, persuasive reports and presentations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, client communication, and relationship-building abilities.
9. Mobility & Availability
- Willingness to Travel: Frequent field visits to remote or rural areas are often required.
- Mobility Tools: In many cases, especially rural assignments, having a motorcycle driving license is mandatory. Prepare security road map based on travel for safely return to the family.
