Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Nutrition or related field with experience/Masters in Public health with Bachelors in Nutrition or a health science and experience in CMAM/CTC/ BSFP/TSFP and IYCF and WASH programmes.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical leadership for Health, Nutrition, WASH and Shelter interventions, ensuring the standard quality implementation of programs as per guidelines.
∎ Conduct/facilitate relevant sectoral & assessments, gather sectoral secondary and updated information & publications capacity building initiatives, reviews, studies, monitoring, evaluations, and documentation.
∎ Lead and implement our nutrition project, including conducting research on malnutrition and moringa.
∎ Support the preparation of technical guidelines and reporting for knowledge management on Health, Nutrition, WASH and Shelter sectors.
∎ Contribute to resource acquisition and management, and cross-functional teams for the development of new projects.
∎ Encourage and facilitate the documentation of best practices and lessons learned to influence policy formation, develop capacity, and foster professionalism.
∎ Oversee all staff under different projects under HNWS sectors, including recruitment, capacity building, ongoing performance evaluations, management, general well-being, work schedules, discipline, etc.
∎ Actively engage in cluster meetings to ensure WV programming information is shared and requests for cluster mechanisms are responded to. Control the budget and prepare reports, and work collaboratively with sectors as necessary
∎ Develop and implement nutrition programs to address malnutrition in individuals and communities.
∎ Provide nutrition counseling and education to individuals and groups, including pregnant women, infants, children, and adults.
∎ Conduct research on the benefits and uses of moringa in addressing malnutrition.
∎ Analyze data and prepare reports on nutrition programs and research findings.
∎ Collaborate with other health professionals and community organizations to promote nutrition and health education.
∎ Develop and deliver training programs for health professionals and community workers on nutrition and malnutrition.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and recommend changes as needed.
∎ Coordination and participation in different Clusters of Health & Nutrition sector and assessment/ surveys
∎ Support, and participate other HNWS related working group at district and sub districts & camps level.
∎ Development of network with other actors in the area as well as community leaders/representatives
∎ Stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and trends and apply this knowledge to program development and implementation
∎ Oversee all staff under different projects under HNWS sectors including recruitment, capacity building, ongoing performance evaluations, management, general well-being, work schedules, discipline etc. in co-ordination operation and P&C in accordance with World Vision policies and guidelines.
∎ Provide technical support to staff and promote learning based on project objectives and activities and ensure documentation and sharing of learning with other sectors and programs.
∎ Take appropriate measures in case of conflict and breach of policies in liaison with P&C.
∎ Lead planning activities in the Base and participate in strategic planning.
∎ Develop planning documents (Scope documents, DIP budgets, forecast, proposals etc), regular revision of those.
∎ Ensure integration with other existing health and nutrition interventions.
∎ Increase departmental integration with Cash, Food and Livelihoods, Child Protections and Education programmes through integrated assessment, design, implementation and surveillance (including geographic, household, and individual targeting utilizing integrated indicators).
∎ Mainstreaming gender, protection and DRR in project activities.
∎ Contribute to agency contingency planning for possible Health, Nutrition and WASH emergency response if required.
∎ Evaluate the relevance and appropriateness of current and future programming in relation to health, nutrition and WASH in the camp/s context and host population.
∎ Mapping of donors; understand donor expectations, technical priorities, key strategic approaches.
∎ Track multilateral, bilateral and local funding programs to access resources
∎ Map potential partners with strengths that would be complementary to WV in filling gaps in a grant opportunity.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Experience in conducting nutrition research.
∎ Knowledge of moringa and its benefits in addressing malnutrition.
∎ Supervisory and managerial skills with proven ability to manage a demanding workload.
∎ Effective negotiation skills.
∎ Effective Conceptual skills & design skills.
∎ Highly developed writing skills (e.g. at level for producing an assessment report or proposal) and strong financial management skills (experience of working within budget constraints) and verbal communication skills.
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Demonstrated leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills.
∎ Strong problem identification, analytical and solving skills.
∎ Strong competency in proposal & report writing, monitoring and budgeting skills.
∎ Experience working with communities and local governments, INGOs, donors and other key internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina. Ability to exhibit exemplary lifestyle as interpreted in specific local cultural context.
∎ Ability to live and work in difficult remote areas and travel extensively.
∎ Ability to maintain performance despite intense workload and work pace.
