Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and certificate in Human Resource Management or a related field;
∎ A Master's degree is a plus.

Job Context:
∎ FH Association (a Christian, relief & development organization) wants to fill one (1) Senior Human Resource Officer (SHRO) position for its Joint Rohingya Response Program (JRRP) in Cox`s Bazar and therefore, inviting applications from eligible external candidates. The SHRO provides invaluable administrative and functional support to the Human Resources team, helping to ensure consistent support of staff in employment-related matters. Primarily focusing on support for recruitment, employment lifecycle and payroll processes, the SHRO ensures timely completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with FH policy and procedures.
∎ Report to : Program Director- Operations

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administer full recruitment cycle ensuring process is followed according to stated policy;
∎ Support recruitment process for new staff, including preparation of job advertisement and posting, reviewing applications, initial candidate screening, scheduling interviews, etc.;
∎ Conduct background and reference checks on short-listed candidates;
∎ Coordinate induction to the organization with appropriate stakeholders;
∎ Administer and monitor contracts and contract renewals, etc. ensuring documentation is complete;
∎ Guide and motivate staff to develop additional skills and competencies, resulting in improved performance;
∎ Assist with facilitation of organizational trainings (such HR and Protection Policy introductions, etc.);
∎ Mediate employee conflict and grievances, escalating issues as appropriate to organizational leaders;
∎ Manage compensation and benefits procedures, including payroll, etc., working closely with HR Manager (FH Main Operations) and Finance team as applicable;
∎ Calculate salary payments to accommodate unauthorized leave or leave without pay, as required;
∎ Others as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least two years related experience in an HR context;
∎ Direct experience within an INGO.
∎ Knowledge & Competencies:

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational;
∎ High integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics;
∎ Proven knowledge of Bangladesh labor law and NGOAB regulations regarding HR matters;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan & coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects & processes;
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to visit field areas/campsites as required.
∎ Age : Below 40 years old

Salary:
∎ As per organizational pay scale.
