Work Experience:

  • 2–5 years of proven experience in category management,or business development — preferably in the consumer electronics sector.      

Academic Qualifications:              

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required (Marketing preferred).

Additional Requirement:                 

  • Hands-on experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination.

  • Strong track record of managing mega promotional campaigns, driving sales performance, and leading cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with marketing, logistics, and tech teams).

  • Experience working with digital tools/platforms such as ERP, PIM systems, analytics dashboards, and online marketplaces.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets and translate them into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Deep understanding of customer behavior, pricing strategies, and product positioning in the electronics sector.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.



Responsibilities & Context:

Category Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and implement the growth strategy for the electronics category, including consumer electronics, home appliances, and accessories.

  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

  • Define and optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Maga campaign management

Supplier & Vendor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, brands, and distributors.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply terms to ensure the best deals and availability of high-demand products.

  • Work with vendors to ensure timely inventory replenishment and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.

  • Top brand management.

Sales & Performance Optimization:

  • Set and track sales KPIs, revenue targets, and profit margins for the electronics category.

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, SEO strategies, and paid advertising for electronics products.

  • Optimize product listings, content, and Product placement.

  • Manage key account governance to optimize partnerships and operational efficiency by maintaining KPIs.
