Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Supply Chain Certification Executive to manage certification portals (BCI, CMIA, Textile Genesis, GreenTrack) and ensure traceability documentation for yarn and materials. The candidate must be familiar with certifications like GOTS, OCS, GRS, and RCS, and capable of managing mass balance transfers to buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the certification process for sustainable yarns. (e.g., GOTS, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RWS, OCS, BCI, CMIA, GreenTrack portal, U.S Cotton Trust protocol portal, yarn traceability, etc.)
Apply, track, and verify Transaction Certificates (TCs) for every certified yarn shipment.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to raw materials, production practices, and supply chain traceability, and share with the buyers.
Maintain up-to-date records of all certified materials and supplier certificates.
Verify that suppliers comply with sustainability standards, chain-of-custody requirements, and traceability protocols.
Coordinate with certification bodies for audits, renewals, and compliance documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable sustainability regulations and certification criteria.
Day to day communication with buyer’s and suppliers.
Prepare monthly or quarterly sustainability reports for management and buyers.
Manage mass balance updates on certification portals.
