Responsibilities & Context: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager to join our Accounts & Finance team.
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing daily banking operations, maintaining relationships with banks and Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs), managing the loan portfolio with financial institutions, and handling all banking communications. Additionally, the incumbent will play a key role in bank facility assessment, reviewing renewals, conducting banking negotiations, and other standard responsibilities related to finance operations.
He will work closely with the Head of Finance/ CFO to make key management decisions and support the overall financial objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Banking Operations:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day banking activities including deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to banking procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity requirements.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks and NBFIs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of banking facilities to optimize financial arrangements.
Loan Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management of the company's loan portfolio with financial institutions.
- Evaluate credit facilities and loan agreements to ensure compliance with terms.
- Develop strategies to optimize loan structures and minimize financing costs.
Banking Communications:
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the company and banks/NBFIs.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from banking partners in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective dissemination of banking-related information to relevant stakeholders.
Bank Facility Assessment:
- Participate in the assessment and evaluation of banking facilities.
- Review and analyze bank facility proposals and agreements.
- Ensure alignment of banking facilities with the company's financial objectives.
Renewals and Negotiations:
- Review existing banking facilities and loan agreements.
- Coordinate the renewal process for expiring facilities and agreements.
- Conduct negotiations with banks and NBFIs to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Financial Decision Support:
- Assist the Head of Finance in making key management decisions related to finance and accounting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
