Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's/Master's in any discipline, from any UGC approved top ranked university
∎ Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management (CIPS, IPSCM) will be added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devising and using fruitful sourcing strategies for import and IT purchases; including active and passive items
∎ Onboard and develop value added suppliers and nurture partnerships
∎ Clear idea on imports & LC processes and documentation
∎ Maintain relationships with related stakeholders as Banks, BTRC, NBR, CCI&E, Customs for smooth functioning
∎ Detailed reporting for LC & fund planning, clearance & usage
∎ Act as Project Manager for large purchases & projects; including project initiation, procurement planning, on time delivery as scheduled, co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders and support project implementation up to closing
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company
∎ Execute contract and risk management for supply contracts and agreements
∎ Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations etc.
∎ Control spend and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs
∎ Sourcing and inclusion of new vendors regularly, complying organizational requirement
∎ Ensure compliance in all sourcing process as per SCM policy & ensure all procurement rights.
∎ Ability to build strong working relationship and influence at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders at senior level
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working experiences in MNCs, INGOs or MNOs in similar fields will be preferred.
∎ Advanced level knowledge in data analysis, report writing, Microsoft Excel and ERP is expected
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Possess a curious mind, willing to work independently and with cross-functional teams
∎ Good command over written and verbal communication
∎ Proactive, innovative and problem solver attitude
∎ Willingness to travel sites across country
∎ Job Location: Dhaka. May be required to work at BHTC Kaliakoir office as hop on basis
