Training or certification in L/C operations, customs management, international trade, or related areas will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
High level of integrity, discipline, and professional commitment.
Ability to maintain office punctuality and adherence to company policies.

Experience
4–6 years of practical experience in Commercial, Import, Export, Supply Chain, or related functions.
Experience in trading, building materials, sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, hardware products, or related industries will be highly preferred.

Import costing and calculations
Proforma Invoice (PI) preparation for import purposes
Responsibilities & Context: Job Context
Dahmashi Trading Company Ltd. is seeking a competent and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Commercial & Supply Chain Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end import commercial operations, supply chain coordination, customs compliance, banking documentation, and supplier liaison activities for building materials and sanitary products.
Office Hours: 10:00 AM – 07:00 PM (Six Days a Week)
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Import Operations
- Manage all import-related commercial activities, including L/C opening, amendment, negotiation, and closing.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents as per L/C terms and conditions.
- Handle banking functions, documentation, and correspondence related to import transactions.
- Prepare L/C opening and closing reports for management review.
- Maintain records of all L/Cs, TT payments, shipping documents, and commercial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with import policies, customs regulations, SROs, and relevant government requirements.
Customs, Freight & Forwarding Management
- Coordinate customs clearance and release of imported goods.
- Liaise effectively with Customs Authorities, Port Authorities, C&F Agents, Shipping Agents, Banks, and Insurance Companies.
- Monitor customs assessments, examinations, and clearance processes.
- Collect and preserve Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other authenticated import/export documents.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customs and other government officials.
Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination
- Analyze stock levels and prepare product procurement requirements based on brand demand.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers regarding shipment schedules and delivery timelines.
- Monitor overall import activities and ensure timely execution of supply chain plans.
- Follow up on shipments, freight forwarding activities, and logistics arrangements.
- Maintain effective communication among suppliers, banks, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
Product & Regulatory Knowledge
- Possess strong knowledge of building materials and sanitary ware products, including:
- Imported Luxury Tiles
- Metal items
- Faucets and shower sets
- Sinks and sanitary accessories
- Door locks and accessories
- Ceramic products (Commode, Basin, Urinal, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor inbound and outbound payments through L/C, TT, and other banking channels.
- Maintain proper Time & Action Plans for all commercial activities.
- Avail applicable government incentives related to imports and commercial operations.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
