Must have 10 years’ practical experience working at the power utility.
Experience in 10 MW+ solar power systems & 33/11 kV substation work will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Preparing Electrical designs for solar PV systems.
Review and verify engineering designs.
Cross-check Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with approved drawings and actual site requirements.
Supervise site activities to ensure installation work is carried out as per approved designs and safety standards.
Supervise installation, positioning, and configuration of solar inverters.
Plan and supervise laying of Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) cables.
Ensure correct HV/LV connections, earthing, and protection systems.
Supervise erection of switchyard equipment such as circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, and busbars.
Conduct and supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning of all electrical systems.
