Job Context:
∎ Employment Status: Permanent.We are looking for a SR. CHEF to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our guests. He has a large amount of responsibility in the kitchen. Essentially, he is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in kitchens. This involves a large degree of supervising other kitchen staff, as well as keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moment`s notice.
∎ Job Location: BB CONVENTION HALL & Restaurant, Maijdi, Noakhali

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, safety, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.
∎ Cook food (Chines, Thai, Indian, Arabian, Continental etc.) in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure appealing plate presentation.
∎ Cook and assist as needed.
∎ Come up with new dishes which appeal to the clients, whenever required.
∎ Produce high quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to location's standards, as well as to clients' requirements.
∎ Monitor food stock and place orders.
∎ Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
∎ Follow compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
∎ Create tasting menus for clients interested in contracting the food for different events (wedding, banquets, corporate dinners, birthday parties, etc.) from their kitchen.
∎ Operate within controlled budgets, cost, dishes etc. and analyze future purchasing to prevent over/under buying
∎ Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guest's needs and requirements.
∎ Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kgs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 3 to 8 year(s) Experience.
∎ Proven work experience as a Sr. Chef/Chef in a three or five star hotel.
