About the Role

Santorini by IKitchen is looking for an experienced Senior Barista to lead our beverage program and set the standard for quality, consistency, and guest experience behind the bar. Beyond coffee, this role owns our full range of non-alcoholic drinks — chai, mocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty beverages. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows drinks deeply, works cleanly under pressure, and can mentor a junior team while keeping service smooth during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and specialty hot beverages to a consistently high standard.

• Prepare a range of chai and tea-based drinks (masala chai, milk tea, flavored and iced teas) to recipe and to taste.

• Mix and present mocktails and signature non-alcoholic cocktails with proper technique, garnish, and presentation.

• Make fresh juices, smoothies, milkshakes, and blended drinks using fresh produce, maintaining quality and consistency.

• Dial in grinders, calibrate espresso shots, and maintain extraction quality throughout the day.

• Oversee bar setup, opening and closing routines, and end-of-day cleaning and equipment maintenance (espresso machine, blenders, juicers, etc.).

• Train, guide, and supervise junior baristas across the full drink menu — coffee, chai, mocktails, and juices.

• Manage stock of coffee beans, tea, milk, fresh fruit, syrups, and bar supplies; flag low inventory and reduce waste, especially on perishables.

• Maintain hygiene, food-safety, and cleanliness standards across the bar at all times.

• Deliver warm, attentive guest service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.

• Support menu development and seasonal drink ideas — new mocktails, juice blends, and specialty beverages — in coordination with the management team.
