Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Speech and Language Therapist
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify speech and communication difficulty or disorder
∎ Devise and deliver a suitable treatment programme, working on a one-to-one basis to enable each of the clients to improve as much as possible
∎ Analyze oral sensory problems and minimize oral sensory issues based on the principles of oral placement therapy (OPT)
∎ Design treatment programs and session documentation via Soap Note
∎ Assist supervisor for the initial assessment process and assessment report
∎ Develop treatment plans to address client needs and help them meet specific goals
∎ Brief parents after conducting each session
∎ Collaborate and closely work with the international partners
∎ Create 6 monthly goals and analyze the data on progress
∎ Monitor the client's program document
∎ Advise on the use of reinforcement and data taking
∎ Oversee all aspects of a student's treatment plan and ensure successful integration of short-term and long-term goals.
∎ Ensure all virtual weekly plans are updated for the clients for the online therapy sessions
∎ Conduct monthly parent meetings to address parental concerns. Being proactive with parent concerns related to therapy and addressing each concern
∎ Ensure all other service recommendations are followed in sessions and the client's files.
∎ Responsible for troubleshooting the programs of the clients
∎ Any other task assigned by the Supervisor/Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Must have knowledge of standards of clinical record keeping
∎ Must be fluent in English & Bengali
∎ Must have a positive and team-player attitude
∎ Must be efficient in using Company properties such as Laptops, Phones, etc. for internal communications, data tracking, clinical notes, scheduling, and other applications that may be needed
∎ Must be able to maintain confidentiality of the clients
∎ Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including community, school, and center settings
∎ Must perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks; work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions; and interact with staff, parents, and others encountered in the course of work, some of whom may be frustrated individuals.
