Experience:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from any reputed medical college in Bangladesh.

• Valid BMDC Registration

• Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography (DMU) from any renowned institute.

• At least 1 year

Bangladesh government is yet to develop urban primary healthcare (PHC) like rural PHC in Bangladesh. Hence, urban PHC is dependent on the Out Patient Department (OPD) of public and private secondary/tertiary/specialized hospitals. Hence, a huge portion of the urban dwellers especially vulnerable community remain deprived of getting healthcare. Eventually, their Out of Pocket (OOP) expenditure on health is exceeding the limit for receiving healthcare from almost unregulated private sector. At this backdrop, Model Urban PHC Clinics (Aalo Clinics) project has been in place designed and developed by a group of experts. Based on the model, Partners in Health and Development - PHD (along with two implementing partners; CMED and NARI MAITREE) has been assigned by UNICEF as the lead organization to implement a sustainable system to manage GP centers focused on performance-based payment (P4P) system by the empaneled GPs and allied health workers. The objective is to deliver all components of ESP service both in PHC clinic and community level with a view to promote urban PHC to government for wider scale-up.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform USG at Facilities level with preparation and interpretation of report. Time 9 am to 4 pm for four days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

• Refer patients to appropriate health facility when required.

• Secures patient information and maintains patient’s privacy.

• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

• Respect the project’s Internal Regulations, Terms and Conditions of Engagement.

• Perform daily update to reporting board in health facilities

• Participation emergency patient's management

• Actively participate in maintaining IPC

• Ensure proper fulfillment administrative procedure and documents.

• Team management activities (Training, workshop, performance, evaluation)

• Coordinate/correlate with treating GPs regarding reporting where needed.

• Coordinate with project team where needed.

• Basic computer skill is required.
