Experience:
Master’s preferably in relevant subject areas Social Sciences, Development Studies, specifically Sociology & Policy, Human Rights Economy, PGD in PMEAL or a related discipline.
Experience in the sector will also be considered highly.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), preferably with national or international NGOs or humanitarian organizations.
Experience in designing and implementing monitoring systems, indicator tracking, and project evaluations.
Previous experience working in Rohingya response, emergency or humanitarian settings will be considered an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SPSS, DHIS2, Kobo Collect/ODK, CommCare or other digital data collection and analysis platforms.
Experience in developing MEAL Plans, IPTTs, logical frameworks, indicators, data collection tools, and reporting templates.
Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies, including surveys, FGDs and KIIs.
Demonstrated experience in data quality assurance, validation, cleaning, analysis and visualization.
Excellent report writing skills with experience preparing monthly, quarterly, annual and donor reports.
Good understanding of humanitarian standards including Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), Protection Principles, and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Purpose of the Position
The MEAL Coordinator will lead the development, implementation and management of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems for the project. The position is responsible for ensuring high-quality data collection, monitoring, reporting, accountability and compliance with donor and technical requirements. The incumbent will support evidence-based decision-making by strengthening monitoring systems, improving data quality, identifying program gaps and promoting organizational learning and accountability. The position will coordinate closely with programme teams, MIS staff and technical partners to ensure timely reporting, quality assurance and effective implementation of project monitoring activities.

Accountable to: Deputy Director, Program
Key Responsibilities
MEAL Planning & Implementation
Develop, implement and regularly update project-specific MEAL plans and ensure IPTTs are established and maintained.
Design monitoring frameworks, reporting tools and data collection systems.
Develop indicators, measurement plans and monitoring schedules.
Standardize monitoring processes across project interventions.
Ensure quality implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities.
Data Collection Tools Development & Monitoring
Prepare ToRs, data collection tools and analysis frameworks.
Develop and review quantitative and qualitative survey tools including baseline/end-line surveys, FGD/KII guides and minimum standard checklists.
Supervise field monitoring and data collection activities.
Review sampling methodologies and provide technical feedback to ensure quality data collection.
Data Management, Analysis & Reporting
Conduct data validation and quality assurance for IPTTs.
Coordinate with MIS and Assistant MIS staff for data management, coding, storage, cleaning and analysis.
Ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of project data.
Produce evidence-based analysis for programme improvement.
Donor Reporting & Learning
Develop high-quality monthly, quarterly and annual reports for donors and technical partners.
Ensure reports are submitted within agreed timelines.
Compile achievements, lessons learned, challenges and key programme results.
Support programme teams in preparing narratives and evidence for donor reporting.
Generate learning products and recommendations for programme adaptation.
Accountability
Strengthen accountability mechanisms across project activities.
Identify programme gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and donor requirements.
Promote Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) throughout project implementation.
Technical Leadership & Capacity Building
Provide technical supervision and mentoring to MEAL team members.
Support staff capacity development on monitoring, reporting and data quality.
Review MEAL plans and IPTTs and provide technical feedback.
Support project teams in achieving project targets through quality monitoring.
Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with programme teams, external partners and stakeholders regarding MEAL activities.
Represent the organization in coordination meetings and technical working groups as assigned.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements and data protection standards.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Project Coordinator.
Monthly Gross Salary: BDT 100,000 /= (Only)
Bonus and other benefits: 10% of the monthly gross salary.
