Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as an example to other team members by advocating learning and take time to learn as well
∎ Analyze requirements to determine approach/proposed solution. Design and Build Solutions using relevant programming languages
∎ Design, conceptualize, implement and maintain our microservices architecture using cutting-edge technologies and cat gifs
∎ Ensure system stability by respecting the highest standards of software development, design, security, and testing.
∎ Participate in AGILE project methodology and conform to coding standards including git workflow and code reviews
∎ Maintains a passion for developing scalable software and ensuring industry standard software development practices
∎ Technically fluent in programming languages, including C, Java
∎ Perform design and write technical specifications according to requirements
∎ Build code as per design and coding standards
∎ Analyze current release of existing REST API's and develop the next release
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Experience with JavaScript and Node for micro-service development and securing them from internal and external consumption
∎ Extensive production experience providing solutions based on JavaScript in the front-end and back-end
∎ Experience leading technical application development projects and systems analysis projects
∎ Experience in creating project Work Breakdown Structures, estimates, resource allocations, and milestones
∎ Experience working in Node.js(or relevant JavaScript with BE knowledge)
∎ Experience building web APIs
∎ Has a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
∎ Good JavaScript front-end/back-end development experience
∎ Experience writing and running automated tests including, but not limited to, integration and unit
∎ Experience in creating and deploying cloud based web applications
∎ Experience in collaborating with other in a software development team and conforming to standard practices and code guidelines
∎ Experience debugging Node.js, profiling memory and cpu usage
∎ Experience deploying Node.js into production and scaling applications beyond single instances
