Job Requirements – Social Media Expert (Online IELTS School)

Education & Experience

Proven experience (1–2 years preferred) as a Social Media Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist

Prior experience in education, online coaching, IELTS, or language learning is highly preferred

Demonstrated success in growing student-focused social media accounts

Platforms Expertise

Strong hands-on experience managing:

Facebook (pages, groups, ads coordination)

Instagram (Reels, Stories, posts)

YouTube (Shorts + long-form videos)

TikTok (educational short videos)

LinkedIn (optional – for brand credibility)

Content Strategy & Creation

Ability to create and manage an IELTS-focused content strategy

Experience producing:

Short educational videos (speaking tips, band score hacks)

Carousel posts (vocabulary, grammar rules)

Student success stories & testimonials

Live sessions & Q&A content

Knowledge of content calendars and consistent posting schedules

Video & Creative Skills

Ability to edit short-form videos using tools like:

CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar

Strong sense of hooks, captions, CTAs, and trending formats

Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred)

Audience Growth & Engagement

Proven ability to:

Increase followers organically

Improve engagement rate (likes, comments, shares)

Manage comments, messages, and inquiries professionally

Experience running and moderating IELTS discussion groups

Social Media Marketing & Ads

Basic understanding of paid social media ads (Facebook/Instagram)

Ability to collaborate with ad specialists or run small-budget campaigns

Lead generation focus (free classes, mock tests, demo sessions)

Analytics & Reporting

Experience using platform insights and analytics tools

Ability to track and report:

Reach & impressions

Engagement rate

Follower growth

Leads & inquiries from social media

Provide weekly or monthly performance reports

Branding & Communication

Ability to maintain a professional, educational brand voice

Strong English communication skills

Experience handling student queries and comments politely

SEO & Cross-Platform Awareness

Basic understanding of:

Hashtags & keyword usage

Content repurposing across platforms
