Job Context:
∎ Building water sanitation entrepreneurship program supported by Max Foundation Bangladesh
∎ Working Station : Batiaghata and Rupsha
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing services and aimed to improve the accountability and responsiveness of duty bearers to ensure equitable and sustainable WASH services.
∎ Capacited societies choose to govern their water resources and services has profound impacts on people's livelihood and the sustainability of water resources.
∎ Ensure effective enforcement of all of the existing rules and regulation in water and sanitation sector of all of the identified Hard-to-reach areas of the country.
∎ Improvement of local governance for proper distribution and location of public DTWs.
∎ Strengthen Union Standing Committee on WASH.
∎ Aware community people about toolkits provided by the rural government and NGOs and follow up monitoring system.
∎ Child growth monitoring by Involving Local Government on Wash Governance
∎ Strengthen governance by improving governance of WASH by further strengthening collaboration with the three key stakeholder groups; community, local government and the private sector.
∎ Motivate the community people to establish MaxiBasin near the latrine.
∎ Ensure hand washing device at all targeted school through motivation and support.
∎ Organize Courtyard awareness session at the community level.
∎ Motivate the teacher, SMC, education department and Students for improvement of WASH activities in the schools.
∎ Advocacy with the union parishad to allocate 20% of their annual budget for improvement of WASH.
∎ Train HPA will measure the growth chart month basis for all registered children under 5.
∎ Capacity building of sweepers on sludge management and business linkage with Sani-Mart.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent report writing capacity, Computer operating, governance and field communication skills. WASH, health and hygiene related activities
∎ Minimum 3 years field level working experience in WATSAN and Nutrition issues in NGOs.
Salary: Tk. 29094 (Monthly)
