Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ A member of APSCA
∎
∎ Additional specialized training in code of conduct subject matter
∎
∎ Additional social compliance certifications/accreditation
∎
∎ Additional experience managing code of conduct at a manufacturer or brand/retailer
∎
∎ Experience with fabrics, garments, or apparel quality and/or textiles highly desired
∎
∎ Knowledge of audit procedures and activities (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 19011)
∎
∎ Familiarity with ISO 17065 procedures and requirements.

Job Context:
∎ Objectives:
∎ oBecome a highly trained and knowledgeable auditor for certified materials pertaining to the scheme / standards offered by IDFL
∎ oBecome a leader and help successfully grow and develop the IDFL audits and certifications serviceso
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary Responsibilities:
∎ Audits / Evaluations of social compliance standards such as Sedex, BSCI, SLCP, and WRAP.
∎ Audits / Evaluations of Chain of Custody standards such as Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Responsible Down Standard (RDS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS) / Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), and Organic Content Standard (OCS). These audit activities will primarily be within region, but may also include outside regions as well depending on location, language, etc.,
∎ Audit Client Services. Handle client inquiries, check-in, agreements/quotations, coordinating schedules and processing certificates
∎ Technical expert. Learn and become expert in related certified materials - down/feather, wool, recycled materials (polyester, cotton, etc.) and organic materials
∎ Evaluation reports and issue resolution
∎ Launch the program for the designated office, including setting up protocols and training staff
∎ Training will be provided.
∎ Secondary Responsibility:
∎ Contribute marketing ideas and assist the Manager with marketing campaigns.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Extremely high level of integrity and honesty
∎ At least 3 years of experience with social compliance auditing/assessment
∎ College Degree in textile engineering or related field
∎ Must be fluent in spoken and written English and regional languages. Other languages abilities are highly desirable
∎ Ability to work independently and proactively
∎ Significant travel will be required. Ability to organize travel arrangements and submit all expense receipts as applicable
∎ Ability to work as part of a team
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Strong investigative and problems solving skills
∎ Ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail
∎ Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
∎ Excellent computer skills with experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
