Education:
Secondary school diploma or Bachelor`s degree, preferably in social science, law or communication; technical training in engineering, construction, or related field is desirable.
Experience:
Background in project management or other relevant subject; knowledge and training in team management, or equivalent combination of education, training & experience;
Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, and in challenging environments.
Good understanding of disaster risk reduction, infrastructure development, and community engagement in humanitarian contexts.
Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools; experience in data collection and report writing is an asset.
Assist in the maintenance and minor civil works of Multi-Purpose Service Centers (MPSCs) and Satellite Fire Stations to ensure operational and well-maintained facilities.
Support fire preparedness and response activities, including the operationalization of secondary satellite fire stations and enhancement of related systems and processes.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and dissemination of disaster and emergency preparedness training materials that are culturally and socially appropriate.
Facilitate piloting and implementation of household-level contingency planning sessions within designated camps.
Assist in the collection, translation, and distribution of key messages and IEC materials to foster community engagement and awareness.
Coordinate field team activities to encourage participation in site-level initiatives by all refugee community sub-groups, with special attention to those facing additional barriers (e.g., women, girls, people with disabilities).
Assist the Senior Field Operations assistant and Capacity Building Team in designing a capacity-building plan for refugees residing in designated collective sites.
Support the Senior Field Operations Assistant in implementing a community-based complaint and feedback mechanism at the site level.
Maintain updated records of community groups, refugee governance structures, population representatives, and other key leaders in the camp.
Assist the Senior Field Operations Assistant in fostering relationships between service providers, national authorities, mainly the Fire service and Civil Defense, and refugee governance structures in collective sites.
In coordination with the Needs and Population Monitoring (NPM) and other relevant actors, support site-level assessments and report challenges with service provision.
Attend relevant coordination meetings and relay information to stakeholders as directed by the Senior Field Operations Assistant; prepare and share meeting minutes as needed.

Prepare relevant finance and procurement documents related to the above-mentioned activities and keep the records of all expenses carried out by the team in relation to those.
