Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Under the supervision of the Technical Unit Coordinator and the Health Technical Adviser, the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Trainer provides specialized technical support in identifying training needs, facilitating workshops and training for Sexual and reproductive health education. to ensure the overall quality of SRH services, health screening, basic wound care, health promotion, and ensure necessary referrals under activities implemented by HI in Cox`s Bazar District (in refugee camps, and host communities).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Main Responsibilitis:
∎ 1. Training need assessment and capacity building plan for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)activities
∎ Assess and identify the SRH volunteers' capacity and prioritize training needs as per project scope for effective implementation of SRH care in coordination with the Senior Technical Officer-Health, Project Manager, and Health Technical Advisor.
∎ Develop a capacity building plan for SRH volunteers from identified training needs in close coordination with the STO-SRH, PM, TA Health.
∎ Produce good quality of training materials focus on sexual and reproductive health.
∎ 2. (Technical Capacity building) Provision of formal training sessions for SRH staff:
∎ Under the supervision of Health technical advisor and Project Managers, and in close collaboration with Senior Technical Officer-Health, plan and provide formal technical training.
∎ Conduct good quality training in SRH services with a particular focus on women and adolescent girls' health. This includes sexual & reproductive health and Family planning.
∎ Using the training needs identified, prepare the content of the training, and ensure its appropriate translation.
∎ Ensure the staff's understanding & participation, and the good atmosphere of the sessions, according to the training methodology.
∎ Continuously assess the staff's level through on the job monitoring/case studies and adjust the training needs and contents accordingly.
∎ Conducts and supports the provision of awareness activities to community leaders about Sexual and Reproductive Health services and needs.
∎ 3. Provision of continuous on the job coaching for SRH staff:
∎ In close collaboration with the project teams and STO-Health, plan frequent field trips/case study discussions to provide on the job coaching for SRH staff.
∎ As per the training needs identified, schedule appointments with the appropriate cases to do on the job coaching.
∎ Accompany SRH volunteers including one-to-one health education, referrals for care, break down barriers to care and manage reproductive health cases.
∎ Provide strengths-based basic guidance and support to offer encouragement and increase motivation.
∎ 4. Planning, Reporting, Documentation, and Networking:
∎ Ensure under the responsibility of the Project Manager, and in-line with STO-Health, collaborate with the SRH volunteers in improving the healthcare support for vulnerable women and adolescent girls.
∎ Assess the volunteers' level at the end of the training session and follow up on the impact of the training.
∎ Documenting and reporting on the outcome of the formal and on the job coaching.
∎ Provide inputs and feedback to the Project Manager and STO-Health to help ensure the improvement of the training.
∎ Support proper reporting- Assist the STO-Heath and Project Managers to prepare reports as per HI and donor requirements, to ensure a timely reporting on the SRH related data.
∎ Collect and document case study, lessons learned as per project needs.
∎ Organize logistical and technical support for meetings, training, workshops, and events.
∎ Systematize and organize information on the results obtained in the SRH activities during the period, to contribute to the production of reports.
∎ 5. Conduct:
∎ Carrying out their duties in a manner that does not adversely affect their health, security, and safety or that of others.
∎ Cooperating and compliance with measures introduced in the interests of work health, security, and safety.
∎ Respect and promote HI's Policies and report to your line manager any non-respect of HI's policies amongst the teams or partners.
∎ Report any incident or act that causes any harm to the beneficiary or others.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 21 to 60 years
∎ Strong clinical/technical experience in SRH training organization and capacity building.
∎ Experience in developing and conducting training for health workers.
∎ Strong teamwork approach.
∎ Availability to travel to remote areas and spend time at the field level.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural team environment.
∎ Proper knowledge of monitoring, reporting, and Documentation.
∎ Computer knowledge (MS office package- both in English and Bangla).
∎ Previous experience working in a remote community setting is an advantage.
∎ Have the capacity to maintain close relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients.
∎ Teamwork and Networking skills.
∎ Good communication skills in both verbal and written Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledge of Rohingya or Chittagonian language a strong asset.
∎ Good planning skills.

Salary: Tk. 66891 - 70585 (Monthly)
