CS Lab Limited is a leading provider of high-tier calibration, testing, and validation services. As our Equipment Service & Maintenance Department expands, we are seeking a highly competent, detail-oriented Service Engineer.
The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert responsible for ensuring that both client-owned equipment and internal calibration asset operate at peak performance and strictly adhere to international regulatory standards.
This role requires an excellent blend of electrical/electronic/ instrumentation/mechanical troubleshooting skills, compliance knowledge, and customer-facing professionalism.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose complex Pharmaceutical, Medical, Biomedical, and Research oriented electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related faults in analytical instruments, thermal equipment, and electrotechnical systems.
Execute component-level repairs, parts replacement, and system re-calibrations to minimize equipment downtime.
Issue rapid-response field support for critical asset breakdowns at customer sites.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) routines according to manufacturer specifications and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Clean, lubricate, opti-align, and execute firmware updates on multi-disciplinary calibration and test units.
Maintain complete maintenance logs to track the health and lifecycle of client assets.
Lead the unboxing, physical setup, leveling, and initial configuration of newly acquired or customer-supplied laboratory and industrial instruments.
Verify facility readiness (utilities, environmental conditions, and space parameters) prior to instrument deployment.
Provide comprehensive user training to clients regarding basic operations, safety measures, and daily care protocols.
Draft, execute, and document formal Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) protocols.
Conduct strict challenge tests and parameter verifications to prove equipment performs consistently within defined specification limits.
Compile comprehensive, audit-ready validation reports and data packages for regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, NABL, ISO).
Maintain absolute compliance with the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) including ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ISO 17020 clauses.
Complete all field service reports, service worksheets, and spill log acknowledgments accurately before leaving work sites.
Coordinate closely with the Quality Manager to address any equipment-related non-conformance (NCs).
