Responsibilities & Context:
Instrumentation Engineers Limited (IEL) is the Emerson Local Business Partner for Bangladesh. Headquartered in USA, Emerson is a multinational corporation and a Fortune 500 company that manufactures products and provides engineering services for a wide range of industrial and commercial markets.
We are looking for a candidate to provide on-site technical support, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and compliance for Emerson products. The role includes customer training, LTSA, shutdown, and audit management while driving service excellence and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for Emerson products and systems.
Diagnose technical issues, propose suitable solutions, and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and proactive service delivery.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of all service activities.
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements during service operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery.
Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA), Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Shutdown, Turnaround & Outage (STO) and Audit management.
Location: Position is based in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka. However, extensive local and international traveling will be required. (Local and international traveling will be required)
Office Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
