∎ We are looking for an enthusiastic Logistics professional as Sr. Supply Chain Officer to join our Logistics department at Dhaka to provide support to the Projects to achieve HI goals.
∎ You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing Logistics strategies.
∎ You will collaborate with our logistics team in all stages of ensuring compliances. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our logistics channels.
∎ This employment engagement will help you acquire logistics skills and provide you with knowledge of various logistics strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in logistics and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.
∎ Mission: Under the chain of Logistics department (from capital level) Sr. Supply Chain officer will ensure all Procurement and storage tasks on daily basis and assigned job in coordination with Programme Logistics Manager and logistics team at Dhaka and Site office for the smooth-running of the program in compliance with Handicap International`s internal regulations.
∎ Base location: Dhaka (with field visit as when required)
∎ Report to: Programme Logistics Manager
∎ Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure smooth Procurement and Storage support to HI
∎ Responsibility 1: Procurement Tasks:
∎ Perform procurement tasks for the project of Kurigram such as:
∎ Supply Plan preparation with Project manager and follow up on regular basis.
∎ Cross check all PSR with approved supply plan before transmit to procure.
∎ Perform to all procurement for goods, services and consultancy as per HI rules regulation.
∎ Market survey/analysis, make potential suppliers.
∎ Leading to establish local supplier for framework.
∎ Keep update and support to the project for supplier data base and price list.
∎ Prepare RFQ/RFP/EOI, Bid Analysis, Purchase Order, Contract, Agreement and amendment
∎ Maintain everyday procurement monitoring chart (PSRMC) and update
∎ Report weekly to line manager regarding procurement tasks and PSRMC
∎ Share Procurement status to the base Project Manager regularly.
∎ Prepare the reception form if need and Internal delivery note. Receive and check the supplier's delivery slip based on the Purchase Order,
∎ Prepare the Bill and commitment for payment after completion of procurement
∎ Update procurement fie with check list and Archive properly in server and hard copy.
∎ Monthly reconcile with finance for the procured items/services.
∎ Monitor purchasing process of Hotel service and Ticket purchase with following TR and PSR.
∎ Framework contract process with assessment for new or renewal in the HI supplier list.
∎ Ensure all supplier's Invoice/bill with MOSHOK as applicable per Bangladesh Govt. rules.
∎ Assist maintenance of equipment through suppliers followed by procurement process
∎ Follow the supply plan of projects and take action accordingly with coordination of project manager/project officers.
∎ Support to organized workshop/training/meeting/event, etc.
∎ Responsibility 2: Archive and Stock management:
∎ Archive all procurement files hard copy and scan all docs as per HI guideline regularly.
∎ Archive and maintain all Original contract/agreement/amendment/procurement in Logistics department with following the archiving guideline and proper tracking in hardcopy and electronic.
∎ Follow the request from other log officers for procurement support in concern with line manager and PM.
∎ Stock and Maintain stock of Kurigram project including project materials
∎ Organise storage zones and conditions according to needs and rules with clean and updates.
∎ Communicate with project staff to make sure the request for stock is placed on time.
∎ Update documentary tools relating to stock management (item identification sheet, stock cards, Bin cards, stock movement follow up, etc.) and report to Programme Logistics Manager.
∎ Place quarterly supplies, stationery and consumable items.
∎ Compile physical inventory reports for Kurigram based, communicate this report and clarify to the Programme Logistics manager if differences.
∎ Deliver goods to the requesting person on specific time, in compliance with the Stock Release Order or/and PSR.
∎ Every week update project stock report and cross check with site office stock report and transmits it to the PM and PLM.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by Line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 60 years
∎ Minimum 5 years in Procurement/Supply Chain with International Organizations/INGOs. For Internal candidate must have experience with HI in Logistics at least 2 years.
∎ Able to autonomous and solution oriented.
∎ Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
∎ Professional Training on Supply chain diploma/degree, or relevant training in Logistics/supply chain will be considered as advantage
∎ Must be excellent in; MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, E-mail communication.
∎ Ability to organize and provide prompt and timely supports, Hardworking,
∎ Able to take the challenges in any situation with positive approach
∎ Able to adapt the policy procedures quickly
∎ Professionally candidate must be decent, honest and loyal, willing to travel anywhere in Bangladesh when required
Salary: Tk. 66000 - 70000 (Monthly)
