∎ Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Aware of and understand the nursing policies and procedures of the hospital and ensure that they are adhered to.
∎ Welcomes new patients to the hospital and provides information of schedules and activities.
∎ Ensure proper use of all hospital equipment. Maintaining economical use and reporting all equipment malfunctions.
∎ Ensure continuity of care by communicating and reporting all patient care plans and activities to appropriate personnel.
∎ Taking care of emergency patients, such as administering injections and saline, dressing, and giving medicine to the patients.
∎ Consulting with doctors about the diseases of the patients.
∎ Motivating and counseling patients.
∎ Taking the temperature and weight of patients and recording them in notes.
∎ Health screening and counseling for pregnant mothers.
∎ Provide all kinds of assistance to the patients.
∎ Assisting doctors in doing ultrasonography and ECG.
∎ Assisting in medical camps at the field level.
∎ Assisting in the sale of medicines in the pharmacy.
∎ Updating of ultrasonography and ECG registers.
∎ Making daily and monthly reports and providing them to the authority.
∎ Attends and participates in all meetings as required.
∎ Develops interpersonal and communication skills with patients.
∎ Ensures patients safety and care during transfer to other hospital/departments.
∎ Participates in the nurse-training program as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a hospital or clinic and have completed an internship in a government hospital.
∎ Must be registered by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council.
∎ Must have the mindset to work with Dalits and marginalized communities.
∎ Demonstrating the ability to pay particular attention to details, remain calm and polite at all times;
∎ Residential location has to be in the project area;
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage the workload effectively;
∎ Previous experience with dalit/marginalized communities will be a plus.
Salary: Tk. 13500 (Monthly)
