Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist with the development of concept notes, proposals, proposal documents and contribute to the overall fundraising efforts.
∎ Independently develop reinvestment plans, budgets, and compliant donor reports in accordance with the guidance provided by The Global Fund.
∎ Monitor programme budgets and expenditures to ensure the optimum absorption or burn rate.
∎ Analyse and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for miscoding and misappropriation, and rectify any errors identified. Regularly monitor grant and sub-grant expenditures vs. target activities (financial and programmatic) to establish internal control and ensure compliance with donor regulations and specific terms and conditions of the grant agreement.
∎ Conduct financial spot checks at the field level to avoid miscoding, misappropriation and provide on-job training to the field staff.
∎ Engage and attend different stakeholders' meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
∎ Update the budget templates and reporting formats as and when required.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

∎ JOB PURPOSE
∎ The Senior Specialist, Grants will be responsible for enhancing the efficacy of grant management within the TB program, focusing on the integration of TB control and prevention services. This role entails independently preparing project budgets, donor reports, and essential data files, as well as delivering presentations aimed at enhancing the status of TB control in Bangladesh. Additionally, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in promoting the transition towards government stewardship and providing support for long-term sustainability initiatives.
∎ Location: Head Office
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
