Job Context:
∎ Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)-an apex development organization was established by the Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh in 1990 for sustainable poverty reduction through employment generation. Since its inception, PKSF has been implementing various poverty alleviation programmes and projects through its Partner Organizations (POs) all over the country.
∎ PKSF is going to implement a new project for the extreme poor titled `Pathways to Prosperity for Extremely Poor People (PPEPP)` during 2019-2025, jointly financed by the DFID and the EU. The objectives of the project are to enable two million people to exit from extreme poverty for good, and to support the development of stronger national institutions and systems to deliver the public and private services required by extremely poor people to become resilient and prosperous. This project will be implemented in the north-western, south-western, and Haor region of Bangladesh. The duration of the first phase of the project is 6 years.
∎ Location Dhaka, Bangladeshwith extensive field visits (at least 50% time) to project areas (outside Dhaka)
∎ Reports to Project Director/Deputy Project Director or as assigned by PKSF authorities
∎ Duration Initially for one year, with an opportunity for performance-based annual renewal during the project period (5 plus years, 2019-2025).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Experience Minimum 8 years of experience including 5 years in development sector with advance knowledge in managing the GIS system. Experience with grass roots oriented poverty alleviation and livelihood based development projects is an advantage.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 165000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary BDT 165,000/- (consolidated) per month and other admissible benefits (inclusive of all applicable Taxes as per law of Bangladesh)
