Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree or equivalent in business, economics, international relations, development studies, environmental management, agronomy or a relevant subject.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Christian Aid is seeking a dynamic and experienced programme development and funding expert to drive and lead programme development, innovation and resourcing in Bangladesh and across Asia and Middle East region.
∎ The post holder will work closely with Bangladesh and AME Country Teams to initiate new donor engagements and sustain relationships with current donors; to coordinate development of funding applications; and, to advise and provide support on delivery of on-going contracts ensuring compliance with donors' and Christian Aid's regulations.
∎ This is a senior role that is expected to engage at strategic levels both at global, country and corporate levels. The role is part of the Senior Management Team in Bangladesh and Programme Funding Asia and Middle Team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge and experience on the design, development and contract management of development and humanitarian projects in Bangladesh.
∎ Successful track record with institutional donors including UK FCDO, European Union and UN agencies including UNOPS, WFP, IOM, UN Women.
∎ Significant and proven experience of successful bid leadership across development and humanitarian grants
∎ Outstanding communication and networking skills for relationship building and facilitation, including consortium development
∎ Project Cycle Management and monitoring, evaluation and learning methodologies.
Salary:
∎ BDT 3,600,661- BDT 4,200,771 gross per annum + medical reimbursement, provident fund, gratuity, life, and medical insurance
